Inspire, Educate and Entertain

Classes are for ages 16 and over and address both basic and advanced skill levels, covering common-sense culinary tips and professional techniques. These classes are not aimed to train you to work in the industry, but rather to enhance your love for, and experience of cooking.

Why start with the Kitchen Confidence Class? In 30 years of teaching I’ve realised that the greatest drawback to a good performance in the kitchen is an inadequate knowledge of basic techniques. You may be extraordinarily creative in the kitchen, but you cannot take advantage of this quality if you do not know the basics. Knowledge of the basics will allow you to asserts ideas positively in the kitchen, to remedy mistakes and miscalculations and to tackle any kind of recipe because you will COMPREHEND the chemistry of food. Indulge yourself with delectable flavors and meet new friends who share your passion for cooking. You are welcome to bring alcoholic beverages to enjoy with the dinner.

Water restrictions & Class Schedule 2018:

Due to the water restrictions all participants must bring a 5 l water contribution towards the washing up of dishes and use of the toilet. 

Cost per  private class: R3600  for a 4 hour hands-on session for one person. Should more people wish to attend the session a further R500 per person is required.

TIME:  Daytime sessions 10:30 am  – 2:30 pm | Evening sessions from 7 pm – 11 pm
